It's so good to meet you!
My name is Meliah Apa, and I'm a twenty-something, a recent Liberty University college grad, and a new wife and. I'm an enneagram type 3w2, INFP, a nanny and a former missionary kid. I'm a pretty wild dreamer, a sucker for a great story and a girl who lives with anxiety, ADHD and depression.
While I don't pretend to have all the answers, I write because people like us (anxious or not) need to know just how loved and not-out-of-place we really are.
So if you are hurting today, dear reader, I am so honored to say:
Welcome to the family, friend.
I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest until I was 15. In 2011, we moved to Papua New Guinea (PNG) where my family were missionary supporters with Wycliffe Bible Translators.
And I loved it. For the first time, I felt like I belonged somewhere. I attended (and later graduated) high school on the island, where I also met & fell in love with Michael, my now-husband. *swoon*
Michael asked me to marry him March 10, 2018, and we made it official August 4, 2018. What a mad dash that was, but boy, was it perfect...
like what's happening?
